Grid Cards Explained
Breaking Up the Page
The whole point of drawing a grid is to break up the page into different size sections. Drawing a grid is a great icebreaker to a blank page. You can draw any of these with small spaces or very large spaces. Try both to see what you like. Play with drawing your grid with a light pencil, black ink, white paint or a color. You may want your choice to be waterproof just in case you want to paint near your lines or over them.

The template file in Lesson Resources is for you to easily and quickly draw a classic grid and concentric circles. The circle template is also a great tool to draw a 3D star. I printed these out and used a hole punch at each intersection.
