Doodle Strategy: Mini Grid Color Riot
Color Mood: Bold & Fiery
Grid: Wonky Grid
Doodles: Pillow Bloom, Dots, Aura, Pebbles, Curved Lines
Wild Card: Paint Over a Section
I first covered the page with orange, pink and yellow watercolor. I decided to use pink instead of red from the prompt card.
I used a thick black micro pen to draw a wonky grid. It was basically a hand drawn classic grid with the lines slightly slanted in different directions.
I drew the Pillow Bloom doodle in all of the grid spaces with the same black pen.
I filled the spaces with the other 4 doodles. I used sparkly gel pens in pink, orange and gold. I drew the dots with the black pen to create some contrast.
I painted black gesso over an area of the page. Then, redrew the doodles and grid with a white gel pen.
