Page Spread #6

Doodle Strategy: Color First, Then Divide & Conquer
Grid: Scribble
Doodles: Pebbles, Dots, Diagonal Lines
This was a page I did before this course was created. But it follows the same process.
I had leftover paint from a page in Color Explorations. I filled the page with vertical stripes in sage greens, purples, lavenders and blues.
I drew a large scribble over the background with a white acrylic paint pen.
I first filled in a few spaces with Diagonal Lines.
I decided to fill in a few spaces with a pale sage green and another few spaces with a warm red. I had these paint colors left on my palette. So, why not!
I doodle in the pale green spaces with Pebbles.
I added. yellow dots to the red spaces.
The background was pretty bold, so I decided to leave the rest of the page as is.
